Throughout my career and personal life, I have been deeply rooted in education and the nurturing of young minds. Originally from Huntington Beach, I pursued my passion for teaching by earning a Bachelor of Science in Child and Family Development with an Emphasis in Family and the Life Cycle and a minor in Sociology from San Diego State University and a Master of Arts in Education from Azusa Pacific University. Over the years, I have had the privilege of teaching across various school districts, including Westminster School District, Beverly Hills Unified School District, Irvine Unified School District, and Cypress School District, where I've worked with students ranging from kindergarten to sixth grade and held roles such as Student Achievement Teacher and department chair. Beyond my professional achievements, my greatest joy comes from being a parent to two wonderful children and a wife to my husband, Joel. Tyler, my son, is an active participant in Cypress Youth Baseball (CYB), National Junior Basketball (NJB), ice hockey, and golf. My daughter, Meira, finds her passion in gymnastics and art classes. Both of my children attend Frank Vessels Elementary School.
